Not a long time ago, I accidentally found this sweet little shop full of handmade goodies - among others. Bags, scarves, wallets, jewellery and clothes. I felt like a little girl in the candy store hehe.. I was more than thrilled! Not being sure where to start from, I got me this cheerful pair of earrings (well, the days were still more sunny than they are now). How do you think? Keep your eyes peeled though, as I've made another little investment to upgrade my accessories stash, so...stay tuned for more!

A couple of days ago, I realised that although google+ comments are easy and useful for a blog, they do have certain disadvantages that may result in missing interaction with your regular readers or visitors. I hadn't realised that not having a G+ account makes commenting impossible; and not everybody has a G+ account. So, after some research I decided to install the disqus comments platform. I wish I had done this sooner, since the major side effect is that all previous google+ comments disappeared (they're still there but they're no longer visible, at least until -and if- I decide to bring google+ comment platform back). 

The Weekender Strolls: Little Oasis in the City

I'm sure you're familiar with the sensation of discovering a small oasis in the middle of the hot, loud, hasty city. Imagine my pure joy when I had my glass of cool coffee in a park full of fountains, animals and flowers: pure joy! I honestly felt so relaxed and calm and the weather helped, too. Personal growth is a constant struggle and it comes through experience - usually bad. Or so I believe. I think being exposed is what describes our daily life the best: we're exposed to several incentives, images, consumerism agendas and of course we may easily feel lost in an ocean of other people's views, chats and criticism of any kind. Can this be frustrating? Can it make one lose connection with oneself? Yes, it can. But think of it like this: if love is what most of us seek, then why not give it to ourselves? After all, you can't expect everything from others, otherwise you'll probably face certain identity and self-esteem issues eventually.

5 +1 steps to MFBB (My Face But Better) for an early walk along the seafront

I'm sure you're familiar with this natural, girly, air-brushed, no make-up - make-up face. A couple of days ago, we had an impulsive desire to go out for a long walk to the city's port and take a stroll by the sea. Having just five minutes to spare for getting ready, but with a determination to look fresh and bright, I implemented the MFBB (my face but better) plan.

Σίγουρα γνωρίζεις αυτό το φυσικό, κοριτσίστικο, αέρινο, no make-up - make-up πρόσωπο. Πριν μερικές μέρες, αποφασίσαμε αυθόρμητα να κάνουμε μια μεγάλη βόλτα στο λιμάνι και να περπατήσουμε στην παραλία. Έχοντας μόλις πέντε λεπτά να διαθέσω για να ετοιμαστώ, αλλά αποφασισμένη να δείχνω φρέσκια και λαμπερή, εφάρμοσα το σχέδιο MFBB (my face but better = το πρόσωπό μου αλλά καλύτερο).

Ω ναι, η Πρωτοχρονιά σχεδόν έφτασε, το αισθάνομαι - τουλάχιστον προσπαθώ! Πόσο αγαπώ τις βόλτες στη πόλη, ειδικά αυτή την εποχή του χρόνου. Κι αφού η πόλη έβαλε τα καλά της για τις γιορτές, τί θα'λεγες να μου κάνεις παρέα και να σε ξεναγήσω λιγουλάκι;
